Technical Arts TeamPurpose Working to facilitate every facet of ACC ministry with technical support and creativity to glorify God and present His message to the people in our community in a way that is relevant today.
SOUND SYSTEM TECHNICIAN Operate and design the audio controls during on or off-site presentations and rehearsals for any ministry. An ideal candidate may have a familiarity with sound board operation and/or audio hardware such as speakers, microphones, cables, and amplifiers, but is not a necessity. The ability to work with others in a team setting is necessary. Good hearing is a must! Training is provided and required.
LIGHT SYSTEM TECHNICIAN If you are familiar with lighting hardware (gels, bulbs, cans, - or if you can flip a light switch at home) this opportunity might be right for you. Operate and control lighting systems during presentations or rehearsals for church ministries. A keen eye for color and balance and the ability to work with others is a plus. Training is provided and required.
SCREEN TECHNICIAN Are you computer savvy and creative with a sharp eye? We need you! Help the production team run screens by creating and running slide lyrics for songs, DVDs, video clips, and message notes during on or off–site presentations for other ministries. Experience with basic computer/hardware operation and basic programs (such as Windows XP, PowerPoint, DVD players) will make you an ideal candidate. The required training is provided and demo software is provided for your home computer.
VIDEO CREW Do you have a media friendly computer at home, creative ideas, and time to spare? Have fun helping to create videos for use with ACC presentations. Experience with video camera operation, and basic computer operation and/or direct experience with video editing programs (such as Window Movie Maker) will make you an ideal candidate. Time commitment is flexible. No training.
STAGE MANAGEMENT CREW Move and manage props for drama, dance, music and teaching on stage during presentations for other ministries. Time needed on mostly Sunday morning during services. Must be able to work with others and take direction well. No training necessary, just being available is perfect.
